The Originals Indestructible White Oak Stake Stunt Prop Klaus Mikaelson Joseph Morgan Crimson
This item was used on "The Originals" on the CW. There are several different versions of the stake made and used throughout the show (although they are technically all the same one). The marks are distinctive enough to picture match the individual stakes to certain episodes and scenes. This stake is a stunt stake and has not been picture matched. That does not mean it was not used in the show it just means that I was unable to find a clear picture to match it to.
This stake is a wood stunt version. The silver (the immortality ring) is made with hot glue painted silver. There are areas where you can see that the glue and silver has come off due to use. This stake collapses and has a wood dowel inside that slides in and out. I have pictured it in several stages of collapse. It has a piece of tape on the top and a string attached to the dowel and through the top of the stake. The dowel wiggles and is not a tight fit.
I have included a picture of the case from the studio to help in verification of the items. It is not included.

Studios will sell off their extra inventory through certain licensed auction houses. They do not come with official studio COA's as the studio does not have the time to identify and verify every single item used on a production so they often give them to secondary auction houses to sell off assets. These items can often be picture matched if screen used or they often come with wardrobe/costume tag identifiers.
