The Originals Klaus & Hayley Letter Box Chest Screen Used Prop
This item was used on "The Originals" S:5 E:8 “The Kindness of Strangers” on the CW. This is the box that contained all of Hayleys returned letters for Klaus. It is used both in a dream sequence in the episode and in the real world. It comes with all the letters pictured. A few of the more important screen matched letters used in the episode are sold separately. All the letters in the chest are made by production. A few are duplicates and most all are sealed. I have not opened any to see what is inside but I would assume it’s paper of some variety to add to the look of the letter. This is a great item for a fan and collector.
The chest itself is plastic made to look wood. It is hinged inside. It also comes with the two stamps used by production to validate the envelopes. (they were in the chest when I received it).
I am also willing to sell just the chest with only a few of the envelopes for 500.00 or with no envelopes for 400.00. If you are interested in either of those options please contact me first.

Studios will sell off their extra inventory through certain licensed auction houses. They do not come with official studio COA's as the studio does not have the time to identify and verify every single item used on a production so they often give them to secondary auction houses to sell off assets. These items can often be picture matched if screen used or they often come with wardrobe/costume tag identifiers.
