Fringe Septembers Notebook Screen Used Prop Production Made

This item was used on "Fringe" in episode “The Boy Must Live” S:5 E:11.

This item is a textured black cover with stamped silver writing on the front. The pages are mostly blank inside but there are a few pages that have “fake” scrapbooking material about the “Fringe” characters cut and glued down. The writing seems a little smeared. I’ve pictured it. It also has a small indent on the cover. It came from production that way.

I have heard from someone close to the production on “Fringe” that this is a prototype of the limited edition book that was released with signatures and amber. This production source recalled they wanted to incorporate the retail book into the series so two were sent to production and used with the filler pages because their budget was minimal for the final season.

This is the one of two books used in the episode.

A version of this journal was also commercially produced however there are some slight difference that help to determine this was the one used in the TV show and not a commercially produced product. The CP (Commercially Produced) version has square corners and the writing on the cover is towards the top. The SU (Screen Used) prop the writing is centered on the cover and the pages are rounded.

I know this was screen used and that it came from Warner Brothers. You only see the outside of the notebook quickly in the scene and I wanted to include all the above information so you know exactly what your getting.

I have included several images from the episode.

This does not come with a studio COA, however, I will provide a COA from Wookiedesigns with the item which has been researched and verified as having been used in the production of “Fringe”.

Although I can verify the use of this item please do your own due diligent before purchasing and feel free to ask any questions before purchase.

Studios will sell off their extra inventory through certain licensed auction houses. They do not come with official studio COA's as the studio does not have the time to identify and verify every single item used on a production so they often give them to secondary auction houses to sell off assets. These items can often be picture matched if screen used or they often come with wardrobe/costume tag identifiers.
